Great rod at a great price!,
Have been fishing with this rod for several weeks now and very surprised by its quality. I have several clarus, st. croix, g-loomis rods and this rod I would rank close to them. It is one of those rare time where you get more than what you paid for.
The rating on the rod it spot on, it loads well with smaller weights but still have the sensitivity with the larger jig heads to feel soft bites.

Under 20 bucks, nothing to lose but i teamed it with a Daiwa Sweepfire 4000B and it is a good rod. Caught a nice trout tossing a doa shrimp and used it to kill the Whiting at my secret hole. I’m going to buy at least 3 more. Good Rod!

|Performs like an expensive rod,
I had this rod for four years until I broke it. The action is great, it casts with great ease and the power of it is unexpected. It wasn’t from fishing that it broke, it was from me not being careful with it and banged it against the ceiling breaking the tip. I’ll be buying another one soon. I used it exclusively in saltwater for two years before I used it in fresh so as long as you take care of the rod and give it a good rinse afterwards it will last for a very long time. So I would say get one for the price it is by far the best in it’s price class.
