Tony (NEW YORK/NEW JERSEY, US) –

I love these waders. Fits like a glove, no loose areas which I like and has enough flex when I get on my knees to re-bait my hooks or when I land a fish. Very easy to get in and out of. I’ve been using these during all of Novemember in New York at air temperatures as low as 38 degrees with stiff winds up to 15-20mph and water temps in the hi 40’s-low 50’s without a problem. Boots are comfortable and gets more comfy after a few outings. I like the treads which makes walking in loose sand bearable, and never had my feet go cold even with thin socks.
As sizing goes, I didn’t get the stout size so this is just for the regular models. I’m 6’00, 210 lbs (slight gut) and size 10.5 in Nike sneakers. I got the size 10 boot size which runs very true to size as a Nike, thats why I wear thin socks BUT it has broken in somewhat that I can wear normal tube socks, again, these boots are really comfy.
Overall fit is snug on me, but thats how it should be for it has no belt in case of water breach, sort of like a wetsuit, but you should get a belt for safety reasons!!! Before buying them or trying them on, I didn’t like the idea of velcro shoulder strap, but after wearing them I understood, even with them off, the waders don’t fall! Not even an issue, and helps getting in and out a breeze if you wear UnderArmour style base layer. I’m a 32 inseam and it fits like it was tailored for me. A good idea to wear base layer top and thin long john base layer just for added warmth and sweat in case you get hot. I would say if its gets hotter than 60 deg. it would start to get hot.
I got about 50 hrs in them and no leaks at all. There were others like “Allen” but fit was horrible, for $20 bucks more go with Froggs. Most of the times when out fishing, I forget I’m even wearing waders, which says alot about them.
UPDATE: used these waders hard for 2 seasons, I really don’t have any complaints except when I walk over a mile in the sand I noticed the start of a heel blister coming on. The reason for this the fact the boots are connected straight to the waders so it does not move with your feet but moves with the waders. The remedy, buy a roll of sports tape and cover the tender area on the back heel which helps greatly.
    UPDATE#2
I just finished the 2013 fishing season. Last session I noticed a rip in the boot, between the toe and instep where it gets creased and sees most of the flexing during walks. It was inevitable, rubber will crack at some point. I’ve walked many miles in them in the sand an most of the times it’s in frigid conditions. Still won’t take anything away from these waders.
Now the solution, I got a tube of “Shoe Goo”. It’s a bit like thick epoxy that does not get brittle. It’s waterproof and very strong and adhesive. A few good layers on the crack and good as new. The shoe goo is about $5, and is a great tool for anything that needs to be sealed, waterproof, and glued.

This review is from: Toggs Amphib 3.5mm Neoprene Boot Foot Wader with 200gr Thinsulate Insulation (Sports)
I just got these and spent the whole weekend in them. They are very comfortable and warm even in the cold water. The fit is very good. I do find the legs a bit long, so if you are very tall for your shoe size they will probably fit just fine. Also if you have a big gut my guess would be that they will also still fit fine. I typically wear a size 10 1/2 shoe, and these size 11 boot fit nice. I definitely have room for big wool socks though they don’t feel loose with regular socks. The boots seem much warmer than my insulated rubber boots. The boot grip seems to be great on bottom and rocks etc. and the velcro straps are very handy and seem high quality. Time will tell how long they will last but they certainly seem to be very good quality.

My husband loves them, the fit is just right & the boots are really good on slimy rocks. He has been searching for some that don’t bulge out at the top when he bends over.He says they are just warm enough for our Mississippi spring Crappie season.. He has worn them several times and so far no leaks.
